haven’t shared artwork in a while…
It’s hard to find nice, interesting artwork… a lot of “artists” online rely too much on their respective computer programs and/or reliance on photographs… and there is so much love for the crisp cleanliness of mass media/popular art that often creativity, passion, drawing strength and stuff like that are forgotten or made secondary. The importance now for “art” is to be catchy, to be easily digested (and if it’s supposed to be “mysterious” it shouts it loudly), to pop in color, to compete will all the visual noise of society…. while it may be necessary when most “art” people see now isn’t on a white wall, framed and lit… it makes most art feel, well, kind of disposable. :( And don’t even get me started on photography…
That said, some people (very few) manage to pull off this mass-media-art thing rather well, and applause to them. It’s just that it’s easy for a lot of junk art make their way around, too.
